Annual Little Light House Tea Party March 3 | Community Spirit

The Little Light House of Central Mississippi’s 7th Annual Tea Party fundraiser is Saturday, March 3, at The Fairview Inn in Jackson from 2-4 p.m.

The party includes an afternoon tea complete with scones, cakes and sandwiches provided by Sophia’s Restaurant. There will also be a silent art auction and a ladies hat competition. Ladies are encouraged to wear hats, says Megan Toms, Little Light House Event and Fundraising Coordinator.

WLBT’s own Barbie Bassett will also speak at the event.

Admission is $25 and can be purchased through The Little Light House website or by calling the office at 601-829-3446. Attendees are asked to RSVP by Feb. 24.

The Little Light House is a non-profit, tuition-free Christian developmental center for children with special needs ages birth to six years. It specializes in early intervention and one-on-one instruction. This is the only program of its kind in Mississippi.
